Baluškiai ancient settlement

This ancient settlement was in the Daujėnai eldership, Pasvalys district. It was located 1.3 km to the west from Daujėnai village and to the east from the road Baluškiai–Smilgiai, on the south-western outskirts of a gravel-pit. In 1964, there was found some pottery and iron cinder. In 1998, during the place exploration any cultural layers were not spotted and it was stated that the settlement was completely destroyed in gravel-pit exploitation.
