Pillar-type chapel to an exiled teacher in Ąžuolpamūšė
This oak pillar-type chapel, depicting a Master separated from his Student by a sword, is dedicated to this village teacher Jonas Janušonis, who on the 16th June1941 was exiled to Siberia. The author of the monument is an artist Zenonas Nistelis, it was carved by folk-artists Pranas Janulevičius and Vytautas Gudonis. The monument was built beside the former Ąžuolpamūšė Basic School building and unveiled on the 14th June 1989.
