Moliūnai Stone

Near the Moliūnai mound, about 200 meters to the south-east direction, on the hill beside Mrs. Berželienės homestead there is the pole shaped stone with engraved dates: 1808, 1848 and 1858. Two other dates are incomplete. Probably they are burial dates. Similarly, nowadays people engrave some information on tombstones. In 1958, an ethnographer Antanas Mažylis took care to excavate and build the stone in order to read the inscriptions.
