Surmised Skėriai burial ground

This burial ground is in the Pasvalys neighbourhoods’ eldership, Pasvalys district. It is located 0.15 km to the east from the road Naujikai–Paberžėliai, to the east and northeast from the Skėriai village cemetery and to the north-west from the left bank of the River Lėvuo. In the past the ancient burial was a gravel-pit, so now it is as a valley levelled and cultivated. In 1992, it was approved that the burial ground area is 0.44 ha. In 1997, there were not found any graves or artifacts. Some graves could be in a territory to the east-southeast from Mr. V. Dulkė farm, where human skeletons and coins were found. Skėriai burial ground is considered as demolished.
