Memorial plaques to a writer Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė in Joniškėlis

The first memorial plaque is on a Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė’s wooden house, in a corner of the Joniškėlis churchyard. It indicates that in 1898 Bitė and Žemaitė created in that house. The second plaque is on the Joniškėlis hospital‘s wall, reminding that a cultural figure and writer Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė lived intermittently in that house from 1865 to1909.
