Pines of the Governor Muravyov
From the 1863 Uprising times to the present day, in the Žalioji forest have remained Governor Muravyov pines. Pines grow on the edges of the former 16 meters wide clearing. The suppressor of the uprising Mikhail Muravyov made that clearing through the Žalioji Forest in order to make it easier to control the rebel movement. An ethnographer Antanas Mažylis marked the Pines of the Governor Muravyov with numbers.
