Memorial stone to Vileišiai village and its school (1926–1964)

This memorial stone was unveiled in June 2010. The stone is at the crossroads from which roads lead through the fields to the Geltonpamūšis mansion, to Burgėnai, to Žadeikiai and to Žilpamūšis. A teacher Aldona Samulionytė-Badarienė unveiled the monument. Mr. Aleksas Čekanauskas and an old resident Juozas Ladyga have contributed a lot to perpetute memory of the village and its school. Mr. Antanas Tamašauskas is an author of a memorial monument’s plaque. The Saločiai parish priest Eimantas Novikas consecrated this memorial stone.
