Cross in the village of Mekšriai

This Cross was built by the road Pasvalys–Joniškėlis, on the way to the village Mekšriai. On the top of it, you can see hardly legible inscription: “1936 and FUNDAT MK”. There is a fence all around the Cross, made by a Mekšriai blacksmith and farmer Petras Baliūnas in the first year of the Restoration of Independence.
