Cross to partisans killed in the village of Kantariškiai

This Cross stands in Kantariškiai village, on the southern outskirts of Pasvalys, between the Via Baltica road and a winding of the River Svalia. The concrete Cross, immortalizing the death of partisans Jonas Alenčikas, Jonas Čirvinskas and Jonas Indrišiūnas on the 16th February 1946, was consecrated by Pasvalys Dean Monsignor Jonas Balčiūnas. The grayish white Cross in memory of killed partisans was erected by partisans‘ relatives and fellows: they took care to build the monument and donated money.
