Cross of the family Švedavičiai in the Vaškai churchyard

This Cross was built in summer 1985. Mrs. A. Švedavičienė wanted to build a Cross because of her son's healing. The priest V. Jasiūnas suggested building it in the Vaškai St. Joseph churchyard. The Cross in the churchyard was built overnight, because of the fear that it would be discovered by Soviet security. Its author is a sculptor Kazimieras Nemanis from Panevėžys.
