Miesteliškiai burial ground

This burial ground is in the Pumpėnai eldership, Pasvalys district. It is located 1,45 to the north-east from Pumpėnai–Smilgiai and Rinkūnai–Moliūnai crossroads, 0.9 km to the west from the road Pumpėnai–Smilgiai and 0.25 km to the east from the right bank of the River Pyvesa. The territory is surrounded by cultivated fields. The area’s surface is about 50 meters long to the north-south-east and in the west about 40 meters wide. It is a small hill covered with pine trees. In the burial ground there are eight barrows with stone wreaths. Their diameter is of 8–10 m and the height is up to 0.3 to 0.8 m. The monument is of an archaeological value.
