Roofed Pole to a biologist, Professor Povilas Snarskis

This roofed pole in memory of a professor, Doctor of Biology Povilas Snarskis (1889–1969) stands in the yard of Joniškėlis Agriculture and Services school. Its author is Mr. Vytautas Gudonis. The Professor Povilas Snarskis was related with the Joniškėlis agriculture and service school by two essential things: he studied there and graduated in 1906. What is more, he taught there from 1920 to 1925. The Professor planted the linden alley (which is now almost disappeared).
