Cross- pillar-type chapel to the village of Norgėlai

This Cross is near Mr. Aloyzas Urbšys homestead. It was erected by Mr. Aloyzas Urbšys who is a nephew of the last independent Lithuanian Foreign Minister Juozas Urbšys. There are five sculptures of Saints and Apostles carved on the monument. Above them it is written: "Lord, forgive us sinners." In the upper chapel part there is "Passion of Christ". According to the author of the monument Aloyzas Urbšys, it is not just the centrepiece of the village, but also remembrance and respect for neighbours who have already completed their earthly journey.
