Roofed Pole for exiles in the village of Pumpėnai

In autumn 1989, the former exiles built this roofed pole in Pumpėnai St. Virgin Mary churchyard. We can read the carved words: "Oh Lithuania, we declare again your spring and your freedom!" There were written the states of exiles mind: Suffering, Hope and Revival. Its author is a sculptor and painter Pranas Janulevičius.
