Monument to those volunteers who died during the battles of independence in Saločiai In 1928, in the center of Saločiai there was built an obelisk from reinforced concrete with a granite pedestal, where we can read the following inscription: “For those who died fighting for the freedom of Lithuania”. After the Second World War it was demolished and in 1989 restored by the members of Saločiai Reform Movement initiative group and a support of the Latvian People's Front as well as the members from Panevėžys Reform Movement group.
