Monument to the brothers Pyragiai in the village of Baluškiai

This memorial monument was built in 1991 at the Pyragiai family homestead, in Baluškiai village. Its author is an architect Viktoras Kunickis. The monument was built in memory of brothers Antanas and Paulius Pyragiai who died in the battles for Lithuania’s freedom in 1946. Jonas Pyragis (1902–1973) and Juozas were Lithuanian military pilots.
